Change the wow intro theme music!

Ok so first thing. This does not damage your wow install or permanently change anything.

This is a tutorial on how to Change your wow introduction music (when you launch wow)

This is basically for people, who are bored listening to the same Lich king's Theme.

You can add anything which you want, but only one file. Music includes : techno / metal / rock / anything you want! (even BC's theme)

Probably you can edit other music files, but i didn't learn any tutorial yet Took me about ~ 2 mins to do this process.

Bla bla bla..

Let's begin.

1. Create a Folder in the Data Folder and name it "Sound" (without the inverted commas)

2. Open the "Sound" Folder and make another one called "Music" (without the inverted commas)

3. Again, Open the "Music" Folder now and make another one called "GlueScreenMusic" {without the inverted commas}
It should be like this :

4. As you can see that was very very easy. Now the last step. It's easy too.
Open the Folder GlueScreenMusic, and then put your song into that folder. Cut or copy doesn't matter.

After putting your song in the GlueScreenMusic Folder, Rename it to WOTLK_main_title

Should be like this.

(Part 1 from Part 2) :

(Part 2 from Part 2) :

Done. Now launch World of Warcraft, and the music will change. Only of the main title. To change it back as it was (to the lich king's theme) then delete the whole sound folder.

Sync And Backup Your Addons Automatically For Free- Guide

Written by chaosmagnetx
Hi all,
Using a PC for most of my playing, but having also a netbook I found a easy way to sync my addons almost instantly (as long as they both have web connection, faster if on the same network) that also backs them up. I will list here the instructions for what I did, having found various guides online, but not all 100% fitting my needs, and various tricks I found helpful.
This Guide is for Windows XP/Vista/7 for other Operating Systems its just as easy, plz request in the comments, please note that you can still sign up and use DropBox but will need to link the folders diferently ( you can still do steps 1-3)

I even understand that Subhuman uses Dropbox to backup important server info (so if he posts a referral link [which adds 220mb to both you and the referrer] use his and save the server money - otherwise mine plz

1: First of all sign-up for Dropbox, plz use my referral link which will add to both of us 225mb above the default free 2G.

2: You can at this point, or at any point after use my suggestions and tips below to get as much free memory as possible (supposedly up to 16GB)

3: Download the Dropbox program from the sign-up site and set up the dropbox folder, only this folder is synced so we now have to create an association between the two locations, by placing the files in dropbox and making a symbolic link (pointer - a type of special shortcut) from the old location to the new.

Most of the Information here was taken from various sites, and put together in my own words and from my own personal experience.

4.Exit the game completely.

5: First of all find the folder where the game is, if you do not know where this is, you can right-click the shortcut and click on open file location

6: Move The Folder \World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons to a folder within your dropbox (for me it was \Dropbox\WoW\Addons).

7: Now you can chose if you want your settings, including video, sound and addons to be the same on all computers or not. If you do Move \World of Warcraft\Interface\WTF as well (for me to \Dropbox\WoW\WTF )

8: Now you need to set up the symbolic link. This can be done in a number of ways, the easiest being:
press windows-R and type CMD for command prompt
type:

junction "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons" "C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Dropbox\Addons"

junction "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF" "C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\My Dropbox\WTF"

replacing the folder names to correspond for where your Game and Dropbox folders are. If you do not wish to share your settings among the computers do not set up the second link ( WTF ) I chose not to as my webbook needs the lowest possible graphics settings and my pc has higher (and I dont want to change the settings all the time) but this does mean that you'll need to setup your addons settings separate and game-info for example Gatherer and Auctioneer won't be shared,
If this does not work you can download http://schinagl.priv...nkshellext.html to create the links from within windows. After installion go to your dropbox folder for the addons and chose from the right-click menu "Pick Link Source" and then going to where the folder had been in the game folder, and right-clicking click Drop As... and SymbolicLink.

9: On all you other computers, after downloading DropBox and giving it time to sync, erase the Addons folder (and the WTF folder for the settings) and setup the Symbolic links as described in step 8.

------Incress your DropBox Memory from 2GB up to 16GB for FREE-------

1: Sign-up through a referral link (will add to you and to the referrer 250mb)
2: Click the “Getting Started” tab (dropbox.com/gs) when logged in to the Dropbox website for a free 250MB upgrade. Just complete the simple steps outlined there for the free storage upgrade.
3: Go to dropbox.com/free and follow the instructions for connecting your Dropbox account to Facebook and Twitter and you’ll get another 768MB of free space added onto your account. (then go to your twitter or Facebook and erase the post if you don't want it there, even tho this will share your referral link for more memory.
4: If you have access to a .edu email address, you can go to dropbox.com/edu to verify that address so that you will receive 500MB per referral (applies retroactively to past referrals as well). It does not matter whether you signed up for Dropbox with a .edu email address or not, you simply have to verify that you have one to get double referral credit. (I noticed that .ac.** works also)
5: Get referrals (up to 8GB without a .edu email, 16GB with)

Share your referrals in the comments, but please delete if you have reached the limit, to give others a chance, Please use mine to sign-up
If you have any questions, or want guides for other Operating Systems also post in comments please.

WARNINGS:
--Please remember that dropbox uses a small bit of your internet connection, and as such may cause lag if this is the case you can exit DropBox and restart it after gameplay.
--Using Dropbox when playing means its always syncing which is epically not good for those with limited plans. (If this is the case also exit before game play and restart after).
--If you are playing on more then one computer (with a friend, or duel-boxing) it will mess up the syncing so i highly suggest turning off and back on epically if you are syncing the settings ( WTF ) folder.
